The AI Enablement & Operations Lead will ensure that tools like Drift, Conversica, and any other new AI-powered martech tool—as well as S&P Global’s in-house AI tool SparkAssist—are configured optimally, understood widely, and applied effectively to drive qualified pipeline, enhance customer experience, and improve operational efficiency. They will serve as both a technical enabler and a change agent—building trust in AI adoption while delivering tangible business outcomes.
Responsibilities
AI Tool Deployment & Optimization: Own day-to-day operations, performance monitoring, and roadmap alignment for AI-powered tools including Drift, Conversica, and future AI applications.
Collaborate with Martech and vendor teams to configure tools, build workflows, and optimize integrations with Salesforce, Marketo, and Adobe Experience Cloud.
Lead the design and refinement of prompt frameworks for generative AI tools — including S&P Global’s in-house SparkAssist — to ensure outputs are brand-aligned, operationally effective, and tailored for internal marketing use cases.
Establish usage standards, best practices, and automation governance policies to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant deployment.
Assist in developing and communicating the strategic vision for AI integration in marketing, aligning initiatives with the overall marketing strategy.
Engage with cross-functional stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI tools into the existing tech stack and address technical challenges.
Enablement, Training & Change Management
Develop and execute internal training programs to drive adoption and responsible use of AI tools across the global marketing organization.
Create toolkits, playbooks, and use-case documentation tailored to different user groups (e.g., SDRs, campaign managers, content teams).
Train marketers and content creators in prompt engineering best practices to improve generative AI output quality and usability.
Facilitate feedback loops between users, product teams, and analytics to refine use cases and identify new value creation opportunities.
Implement and analyze feedback mechanisms from users to drive continuous improvement in AI tool usage and effectiveness.
Measurement, Testing & Innovation
Design and execute robust experimentation frameworks (e.g., A/B tests, multivariate tests) specifically for AI-driven initiatives, analyzing results to derive actionable insights and optimize model performance.
Lead the continuous monitoring and analysis of AI tool performance against defined success metrics, providing actionable recommendations for optimization and strategic pivots.

5-7+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing technology, or digital enablement roles, with at least 2 years working with AI tools
Hands-on experience with AI-driven platforms like Drift, Conversica, 6sense, and/or LLM/NLP enhancement tools. Crucially, the ability to understand how these tools integrate (data flow, API concepts) is essential, even if they are not building the integrations from scratch.
Familiarity with Martech stack integrations (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce, CDPs, Adobe Experience Cloud)
Strong understanding of B2B marketing processes and lead flow across sales and marketing systems
Strong understanding of data management practices, including data quality assurance, privacy, and compliance.
Proven ability to deliver training programs and influence adoption across cross-functional teams
Cultural sensitivity and the ability to tailor AI strategies to diverse markets and customer segments, where/if applicable.
Proven ability to drive the development and communication of the marketing AI roadmap, identifying opportunities for AI in marketing, translating business needs into AI use cases, and articulating the strategic value.
This role requires a proactive problem solver who can troubleshoot operational issues with AI tools and actively seek out new martech AI solutions that solve marketing problems.
Understanding the implications of AI ethics for customer experience, brand reputation, data privacy, and compliance is essential.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading AI implementation projects in a marketing or go-to-market environment
Background in change management, enablement, or internal communications
Knowledge of AI ethics, compliance frameworks, or responsible AI guidelines
Experience designing and optimizing prompts for large language models or generative AI platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Google Gemini, Adobe Firefly), ideally including proprietary in-house models.
Familiarity with change management frameworks to effectively manage transitions and drive adoption, a plus.
