We are seeking an Associate Director to support the expansion of Interpath's Asset Tracing and Complex Investigations team. This is a senior role with critical responsibilities in leading, guiding, and managing a team of analysts across a portfolio of complex, international investigations.
The successful candidate will be an experienced asset tracing specialist, with deep familiarity with investigative tools, databases, and methodologies, and proven experience delivering results across a range of case types.
Key Accountabilities
Leadership & Team Management
Lead and mentor a team of analysts and investigators across multiple complex international cases.
Oversee day‑to‑day case management, ensuring quality, consistency, and timeliness of deliverables.
Provide strategic direction and guidance to junior team members.
Casework & Analysis
Design and manage asset tracing investigations across jurisdictions, including work related to sovereign entities and politically exposed persons.
Conduct and review high‑quality research, analysis, and reporting using advanced investigative tools and databases.
Synthesize complex data into concise, client‑ready insights and reports.
Client Engagement
Serve as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring high satisfaction.
Work closely with legal teams and external partners to deliver cohesive investigative strategies.
Present findings clearly and persuasively in both written and verbal formats.
Practice Development
Contribute to the strategic growth and international expansion of the practice.
Identify new opportunities for business development and client engagement.
Support innovation and process improvement across investigative methodologies.
Requirements
Minimum 8 years’ experience in the investigations industry, with dedicated expertise in asset tracing casework.
Proven experience leading analytical or investigative teams.
Strong knowledge of investigative tools, data sources, and open‑source intelligence (OSINT) methodologies.
Demonstrable success managing complex, cross‑border cases.
Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to investigative rigour.
Desirable
Experience in cases involving politically exposed assets.
Previous work in a professional services or advisory environment.
Additional languages or regional expertise.
Strong network within the investigations and legal community.
