Buro Happold This role will see you playing a key leadership role in the technology discipline, supporting the Discipline Leader across project leadership, business development, people management, and strategy. You will collaborate with technology experts across the practice, including digital strategy, experience analysts, smart buildings, smart cities, digital twins, digital infrastructure and data analytics. Responsibilities

Leading project delivery on behalf of the technology discipline, supporting the delivery teams with project engagement and representing technical authority for final review and sign-off. Promoting the discipline and engaging with senior management to support the discipline strategy. Supporting the Discipline Leader in actively seeking out new clients and workstreams, and cross-selling other Buro Happold services. Consulting with clients, collaborators and stakeholders to capture requirements and tailor solutions that consider up-to-date technology and integration with other services and disciplines. Input into consultative work with an understanding of key business drivers for digital technology and the ability to help clients develop visions, briefs and strategies for design work. Managing bid development requests, preparing market capability information, roadmaps and budgets. Understanding and advocating smart building and cities technologies; developing strategies that support client development aspirations. Monitoring project finances and effectively managing time and resources within the team. Mentorship and line management of more junior staff. Assisting the Discipline Leader in monitoring and developing knowledge management, training and team support materials. You will be an expert in helping clients embrace and leverage technology in the built environment, capable of applying city master planning through to building fit-outs and guiding digital transformations from inception to delivery with contractors. You will be a confident leader of people and experienced in ICT infrastructure delivery from bid through to handover and post-occupancy review. Qualifications / Requirements

Significant experience in a Technology role focused on the built environment. Experience leading the development of technology infrastructures (e.g., Smart Building Technology, Passive ICT infrastructure, Structured Cabling, Wireless Networks, IoT, etc.) from brief to specification and tender support. Proven project leadership and end-client interaction. Experience in business development, ideally with an existing client network. Relevant industrial qualifications and a desire to pursue professional registration with a relevant body. Expertise in a specific information technology field, ideally with design experience.
