As an Associate Director in Civil Structural Engineering, you\'ll play a vital role in business development and heavy civil engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad. We specialise in heavy civil engineering across Defence, Energy, Cities & Development and Water, delivering solutions through the project lifecycle with client-side support and during construction. We currently have opportunities in our Epsom, London, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Belfast and Glasgow offices. Responsibilities
Own and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, to high-quality levels. Define briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals. Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes. Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions. Set quality assurance standards in design. Grow, develop and manage heavy civil engineering capability within the practice.
What you can bring
Chartered Civil / Structural Engineer or similar. Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design. Comprehensive knowledge in design and analysis of heavy civil engineering structures, including reinforced concrete and/or steel, with experience across all design phases and construction. Familiarity with current design standards and working practices (British Standards and possibly American codes).
