Associate Director, Client Implementation

New Yesterday

Methodologies to ensure predictable and successful delivery of ongoing initiatives are crucial in this role. The ideal candidate will have a vision for change, transformation, and continuous improvement, and be expressive and vocal in identifying and mitigating risks.

Trends show that we are pitching towards bigger and more complex deals across different products, segments, and locations, requiring expertise beyond the typical BAU onboarding process. There is no defined group-wide approach to managing transformational deals, and it is evident that deals of a certain size require project and solution management support to pitch effectively and provide clients/prospects with the comfort of IQ-EQ's approach to large projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage strategic projects and transformational transitions across the IQ-EQ Group, ensuring successful delivery through effective planning, execution, monitoring, and closure using approved methodologies and governance standards.
  • Organise and motivate cross-functional project teams, drive stakeholder alignment, and maintain transparent communication to ensure timely onboarding of large transformational deals.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by refining Change Delivery methodologies, templates, and checklists, while actively participating in client transition meetings and commercial pitches.
  • Ensure governance compliance and stakeholder collaboration, working closely with functional leads and advising on project approaches, support structures, and timelines during the TDC process.
  • Manage and develop direct reports, delegating responsibilities, monitoring performance, and fostering a high-performing team environment.

Requirements

  • Over 15 years of experience in end-to-end project management, handling complex and diverse projects with a proven ability to deliver results under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels, including subject matter experts, executives, clients, and suppliers.
  • Confident and clear communication, both in written and oral presentations, and fluency in English, with the ability to influence and facilitate decision-making among senior stakeholders.
  • Highly proficient in tools such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Monday.com, and holding a recognised Project Management qualification.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, can-do attitude, with strong initiative, self-management, and a creative approach to problem-solving across a range of challenges.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in operating within a firm with globally distributed teams, financial services, and a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment.
