Associate Director, Clinical and Translational Imaging As an Associate Director of Clinical and Translational Imaging, you will lead strategy and implementation of clinical imaging by driving innovation and delivery across the drug development life‑cycle. Responsibilities
Lead and deliver imaging endpoints from Ph1 to Ph4 assets across Respiratory, Immunology, Hepatology, GI, Renal and Dermatology indications. Facilitate selection of optimal imaging endpoints for GSK studies and support delivery in multicentre studies. Resource studies to ensure high‑quality imaging data and support data reuse initiatives. Assist with developing a Clinical Imaging strategy for emerging disease areas and adjust strategy according to pipeline changes. Lead capability development initiatives, including deep analysis of imaging datasets for biomarker development to deliver internal needs such as disease subclassification, prognostics and treatment response.
Qualifications and Skills
BSc or PhD (or equivalent) in relevant biomedical, life science, medical imaging or related field. Experience in clinical imaging using multiple radiological imaging modalities (CT, PET, MRI). Experience in clinical research within an imaging CRO, large pharmaceutical company or post‑doc. Direct experience in leading and delivering imaging‑endpoints within clinical trials (Phase 1‑4). Detailed experience across the lifecycle of multicentre studies delivering standard, regulatory and advanced non‑regulatory imaging endpoints across multiple therapeutic areas.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Medical or PhD degree with imaging experience in drug development. Clinical radiology experience and deep understanding of clinical radiology imaging modalities across multiple disease areas. Hands‑on experience with clinical imaging in research or hospital environment including quantitative image analysis. Experience in operational aspects of implementing imaging in multicentre clinical trials. Detailed biological knowledge of 1‑2 diseases. Experience authoring scientific articles and clinical development documents. Good communication and influencing skills and demonstrated capacity to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
