Everything we do is tied into our vision of building vibrant communities, whilst providing businesses with the support and expertise they need to grow.Sustainability at BruntwoodJob purpose:You’ll be based at our Manchester City Centre office - Union - working closely within a team of three, as well as the wider team of Surveyors across multiple disciplines including; Building & Construction, Development, Asset Management and Commercial.You’ll be responsible for building strong customer relationships, and driving retention within the Bruntwood SciTech portfolio. Creating and enhancing customer loyalty, through getting to know our customers, anticipating their requirements throughout their property journey and negotiating commercial transactions that work for everyone.Some examples of the portfolio you’d support include: Bloc, Circle Square, Bond & NeoWhat we’re looking for:An established Surveyor within a Commercial setting - ideally MRICS qualified but this is not essentialA customer focused individual, who can build great working relationships with customers and a multi disciplinary team, someone who enjoys building long term relationshipsA great collaborator - working effectively with the wider internal teams across commercial leasing, asset management and developmentAn excellent communicator and collaborator who can maintain great relationships during commercial negotiations with customers and stakeholders.You are analytical and can use data and insight to support decision making.What you’ll be doing:Full lifecycle account management including lease renewals, rent reviews, expansions, contractions and relocationsWorking proactively to ensure we secure our rent at risk in advance of lease events supporting our annual budgets, targets and KPIs.Developing detailed knowledge of our customers’ businesses and the sectors within which they operate; by nurturing relationships with senior stakeholders within that organisation.Connecting our customers to resources that support their success, through knowledge and understanding of our suite of products, services, business support and community initiatives.Attending and hosting customers and contacts at community, business support and networking events.Ensuring the retention strategy links to the asset management plan for each building.Using our internal systems to monitor performance to provide updates to the regional management team, and report into Regional Board meetings and the wider business.Building relationships with customers from completion through to expansion, relocation, downsize, financial challenges and at times departure from the portfolio.Maintaining an awareness of the market and competition, utilising networks and relationshipsBenefits:28 days holiday plus you get your Birthday off work - and if that’s not enough you can also buy & sell holidays too24 hours a year volunteer time - there are endless opportunities for you to get involved in supporting the causes that matter most to youSabbatical of up to 12 months so you can take a career break after five years with usHealthcare cash plan for all colleagues, so you can claim back medical expenses like optical, dentist & physiotherapy.
