If you're looking for an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing team, we'd love to hear from you.Our Values Shape The Way We Consult And Define The People We Want To Join Us On Our Journey, They AreSafety first - Going home safe and wellClient focus - Deliver on our promiseIntegrity - Always do the right thingCreate opportunity - For our people to excelSupporting the commercial lead to ensure that cost plans are robust, integrated, represent value for money, and are supported by consistent internal and external benchmarking data.You’ll Be Responsible ForSupporting in conducting feasibility studies and benchmarkingAppyling the value management techniques at the outset of a projectSupporting estimating and cost planning activities to include taking ownership of and presenting the final cost planSupporting the procurement process, ensuring that all stages including pre-qualification, enquiry, analysis, selection and contract preparation are performed effectivelyHelping ensure that post-contract cost variances and change control processes are managed effectivelyHelping ensure that cost checking and valuation work is managed effectivelyHelping ensure the production of monthly post-contract cost reports and presenting them to the clientHelping ensure that final accounts are negotiated and agreedBeing a valued interface with client and other consultants at all project stagesAssisting in the development of new business opportunities with existing and new clientsYou’ll Need To HavePrevious experience working for a cost consultancy practice or main contractor within Infrastructure sectorsCost planning, budgeting and estimating experienceKnowledge of the typical industry contract forms and procurement routesHighly numerate, accurate and focused on detailUnderstanding of industry best practiceAbility to build excellent relationships with clients, design teams and stakeholdersYou’ll Also HaveA degree in quantity surveying/cost management or equivalentProfessional membership i.e. MRICS/RICS or working towards.
