This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, spotting opportunities, and leading projects that directly contribute to FRP’s growth. You’ll work closely with our Corporate Finance and Debt Advisory teams, helping to shape origination strategy and deliver meaningful results.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and analyse the market to identify themes, angles and opportunitiesMarket map relevant and interesting sectorsBuild and maintain strong relationships, both internally and externally with potential clients/targetsWork closely with CF/DA partners and directors to support new business objectivesLead origination projects from start to finish, ensuring strong pipeline management across all targets and projects on an ongoing basisSupport training and development of more junior origination team membersAssist with team management responsibilities when requiredDrive efficiency and continuous improvement within the origination teamBuild relationships with intermediaries to expand professional network and share market intelligenceCollaborate closely with the PE Coverage teamQualificationsProven experience in deal origination, corporate finance, private equity, or business developmentStrong commercial awareness, with the ability to identify market opportunities and assess financial viabilityExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport across all levelsStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExperience working with CRM systems and understanding of GDPR complianceA degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field is preferredExperience in professional services, private equity, or legal sectors is advantageousAbility to work independently and collaborativelyStrong self-motivation, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise effectivelyExperience in team leadership or mentoring is a plusAdditional InformationOur ValuesStraightforward: We provide clear, no-nonsense adviceConfident: Our guidance is backed by expertise and evidencePragmatic: We focus on practical solutions and tangible outcomesReal: We are professional yet approachable, understanding the challenges our clients faceAt FRP, sustainability is integral to our strategy and operations.
