Overview

This new role comes at a critical moment in Nottingham Trent University’s journey, with the commencement of our new Vice-Chancellor and the evolution of our University Strategy. In this position, you will work closely with our executive team to define the University’s fundraising and alumni priorities and approach for the future. This will involve consultations with senior leaders across the University and the development of pragmatic and effective strategies to fundraise and engage our 250,000+ alumni around the world.

Responsibilities

• Lead and embed world-class fundraising and alumni relations practices across a team.
• Foster a culture of innovation and excellence; work as a collaborative team player in a complex organisation.
• Deliver major gifts through end-to-end philanthropy plans and measurable outcomes for the University.
• Refresh and develop sustainable methods of engagement with global alumni to build two-way relationships that strengthen branding and fundraising outcomes.

Contract and timing

This post is initially recruited for a 12-month period, with potential for extension based on performance and business needs. Interview date: Thursday 13th November 2025.
