My client is recruiting for an Associate Director in EICA Engineering within the Water Sector.

As an Associate Director in EICA Engineering, you will play a key role in business development and engineering on transformational programs for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on high-profile projects across various sectors including Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education. We provide comprehensive engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. We have opportunities available in our Birmingham, Surrey, and Bristol offices, with consideration for other locations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage teams undertaking technical design work adhering to relevant standards and quality levels.
• Define project briefs, scopes, and contribute to bid proposals.
• Manage project timelines and budgets to meet milestones.
• Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Establish quality assurance standards in design processes.
• Develop and grow ICA engineering capabilities within the practice.

What You Bring:

• Chartered Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer.
• Experience in managing design delivery, including multidisciplinary projects.
• Expertise in ICA design (instrumentation, PLC and SCADA systems), motor control, system architecture, communication networks, P&ID's, ATEX installation practices, functional safety, control specifications (URS/FDS), and system requirements in process/industrial environments.
• In-depth knowledge of UK design standards, practices, and guidance.
