OverviewTurner & Townsend is seeking Associate Director-level Estimating professionals to work on a wide variety of projects/programmes and support the leadership of our growth plans in the UK Estimating team. The work includes delivering estimating outputs to support client decision making.ResponsibilitiesLead or manage the production of accurate and comprehensive estimates and cost plans for projects/programmesPromote estimating good practice within Turner & TownsendHelp achieve departmental objectivesStay abreast of developments within the estimating technical areaCollaborate with Directors to construct bids for new workProvide direction to staff on assigned tasksAct as a role model for less experienced staffLead interfacing with clients and other consultants at all project stagesDevelop new business opportunities with existing and new clientsIdentify and act on cross-selling opportunitiesStaff management where appropriateKnowledge managementQualificationsProven estimating management experienceQualified in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with relevant experienceExperience with estimating software packagesDesirable membership of RICS / CIOB / A. Cost E.Experience on Major Programmes and ProjectsExperience in the Infrastructure sector (Rail, air, power, highways)Experience in leading and managing teamsAdditional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
