Join our talented team, where everyone has a voice and we face our clients' challenges head-on in a diverse and inclusive environment.As an Associate Director in ICA Engineering, you will play a vital role in business development and ICA engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.We specialise in instrumentation and control/automation across sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development and Education. We provide industry-leading engineering solutions through the project lifecycle, with value added through client-side support as well as construction phases. If you are part of a team with a passion for this industry, we would love to talk to you.We currently have opportunities in our London office.Your PurposeOwn and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.Defining briefs, scopes of work, and contributing to and leading bid proposals.Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.Set quality assurance standards in design.Grow, develop and manage ICA engineering capability within the practice.What you can bringChartered or Fellow Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer.Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.Comprehensive knowledge in ICA design (instrumentation, PLC and SCADA systems), motor control systems, system architecture, fieldbus/communication networks, P&IDs, ATEX installation practice, functional safety, development of control specifications (URS/FDS), schedules and system requirements within process/industrial environments.Extensive water industry experience.Expert knowledge of current UK design standards, working practices and national guidance.Proven as a strong technical leader in multidisciplinary delivery.A winning work mindset to drive and expand AtkinsRéalis' client portfolio.Why work for AtkinsRéalis?We are ranked as one of LinkedIn's Top 25 Companies where UK professionals want to work and stay once they join.
