As an Associate Director in ICA Engineering, you'll play a vital role in business development and ICA engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.We specialise in all aspects of instrumentation and control/automation, within sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development and Education. We continue to provide industry-leading engineering solutions through the full project lifecycle, with value added through client-side support as well as construction phases. If this sounds like you, we'd love to talk.We currently have opportunities in our Bristol office.ResponsibilitiesOwn and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, to high-quality levels.Define briefs, scopes of work, and inputs into bid proposals.Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.Setting quality assurance standards in design.Grow, develop and manage ICA engineering capability within the practice.What You Can BringChartered Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer.Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.Knowledge in ICA design (instrumentation, PLC and SCADA systems), motor control systems, system architecture, fieldbus/communication networks, P&ID’s, ATEX installation practice, functional safety, development of control specifications (URS/FDS), schedules and system requirements within process/industrial environment.Knowledge on current UK design standards, working practices and national guidance.Why AtkinsRéalis?We\'re ranked as one of LinkedIn's Top 25 Companies in the UK, and recognised by The Times Top 50 employers for women.
