OverviewThis job is for a full-time ICT Associate Director within the Building Engineering Division at AECOM, based in one of AECOM's UK Offices. The role is part of the Security & Technology team, providing ICT design and support services to complement and enhance the design activities of Mechanical and Electrical teams. The role covers ICT design across sectors including office fit-out, mixed-use, industrial, and multiple government organisations.You will have a solid foundation of understanding or analysis of client business practices and goals. You will develop and formulate solutions to client problems on assigned projects. Under general direction, you will create work plans and task definitions, possess broad technical knowledge, and have an area of specialization or focus.What you’ll doCommunication Room designITC cabinet designStructured cabling designTelecoms planningWireless networksLAN switch networksConnected Real EstateDesigns will also need support and interface to other third-party Internet Protocol (IP) based technologies, including:Security - CCTV and Access Control.AV and Multimedia, including IPTV, digital signage, room booking systems, and Intelligent building components.Common Network Systems (CNS), including integration with third-party MEP services, including but not limited to Lighting Control, BMS, and other building-related services and systems.As projects move to a construction phase, the role will require the following:Undertaking client design team meetings.Site inspections.Test result analysis.Witness testing.QualificationsRequirements:Proven extensive experience in a design-based consultancy.Hold a Certified Network Infrastructure Design Professional (CNIDP) qualification.At AECOM, we value everyone's unique contributions and perspectives.
