The Estates & Facilities Team ensures that the University has a built and physical environment that supports the activities of a world-class University, across a portfolio of academic, state-of-the-art research, clinical, enterprise, workspace, residential, social amenities, sport and community facilities. Ambitious plans are in progress with an estates masterplan that will see £1bn of investment in enhancing and delivering a sustainable, inclusive estate over the next decade.Role responsibilitiesLead a team of subject matter experts across Electrical, Mechanical, Safety and Infrastructure to provide comprehensive technical leadership to the operational maintenance and project teams within Estates & Facilities.Act as the intelligent client representative across the estate development, owning the infrastructure masterplan and overseeing significant capital investment to achieve Net Zero.What we are looking forTrack record of managing a complex portfolio for a Russell Group University.Exceptional stakeholder engagement and team leadership skills, with a customer-centric, results-focused approach within budgetary constraints.Equality, Diversity & InclusionThe University of Southampton is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion.
