Job Description:
The Talent Set is partnering with Ronald McDonald House Charities to recruit for the newly established Associate Director of Mass Engagement role, a key senior position within the charity.
Salary: £80,000+
Location: Flexible with hybrid working of 2 days per week from a Ronald McDonald House or Office
Ronald McDonald House Charities is investing significantly in its Engagement Strategy, creating roles like this to build meaningful supporter relationships, expand reach, and deepen impact for families in need.
As Associate Director of Mass Engagement, you will lead a new team across a broad portfolio including public fundraising, supporter care, digital mobilisation, communications, and marketing, ensuring all activities align with the Engagement Strategy and enhance the charity's visibility and support.
This is a unique opportunity for a visionary leader to be creative, develop new products, and shape the future of Mass Engagement within the charity.
We seek experienced leaders who can demonstrate collaboration, a digital-first approach, innovative propositions, and potential for deeper supporter engagement and financial support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the mass engagement directorate, inspiring teams to foster collaboration and accountability.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing, communications, and fundraising plans.
- Oversee all public fundraising channels, ensuring brand alignment and supporter engagement.
- Develop supporter journeys across all touchpoints.
- Transform digital engagement and mobilisation efforts.
- Create and deliver insight-led content with consistent messaging.
Candidate Profile:
- Experienced public engagement leader with a background in fundraising and/or communications in a complex, multi-channel environment.
- Proven ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams.
- Robust understanding of individual giving, digital optimisation, supporter journeys, and brand engagement.
- Strategic leader capable of developing high-performing teams.
