Newham Hospital are seeking a compassionate and committed Associate Director of People to join and lead a newly created team dedicated to improving workplace experience for all and impacting the local community.This post is newly created and will support the People Director to further develop a high performing team that has over the past 12 months supported increasing NUH fill rate by 5%, reducing sickness by 1.5%, reducing turnover to 9%, embedded a culture of speaking up and improved many metrics across WRES, WDES and Staff Survey.Reporting to the Director of People the post holder will ensure the provision of professional customer-focused HR advice, coaching and solutions that support the business in the identification and management of workforce issues and major change programmes. The Associate Director of People is responsible for the operational management and development of the People Team at NUH including the Business Partnering and Employee Relations advisory services.Key responsibilities include managing the portfolio of strategic workforce projects and priorities, developing and setting key performance indicators, and supporting Senior People Partners to co-design and implement local people projects.Barts Health is one of the largest NHS trusts in the country, and one of Britain's leading healthcare providers.
