We are thrilled to partner with a well-established, fast-growing, multi-disciplinary planning and environmental consultancy to find an experienced Associate Director of Planning for their Scotland office. This consultancy, known for delivering exceptional services across the UK and Ireland, is expanding its team of 25+ professionals and offers a dynamic and supportive work environment.

About the Role

As Associate Director of Planning, you will:

  • Lead planning services for high-profile strategic infrastructure and renewable energy projects, ensuring effective management of project schedules and budgets.
  • Drive business development by identifying new opportunities and contributing to the growth of our client’s Scottish operations.
  • Oversee work inquiries, produce compelling bids, and nurture strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and engage with key stakeholders to achieve project goals.

    • About You

    To excel in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Chartered Membership of the RTPI.
  • At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience, particularly within the onshore wind sector.
  • A strong understanding of the Scottish planning system and its application in infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
  • Proven commercial skills with a track record of bringing in new business and building client networks.
