Lead planner for the retrofit team within the Fitout and Retrofit Business Unit. Leads and is accountable for the planning function across area of responsibility. Accountable for ensuring that projects and tenders within portfolios are effectively planned, scheduled and monitored. Leads the deployment and implementation of the business’ planning & project controls procedures across portfolio. Responsible for the planning on larger or more complex projects, minor business units or parts of larger business units.

You’ll need to have: 

• Expert knowledge of schedule management tools & software.

• Mastery in setting up effective planning/schedule management systems & procedures.

• Multi Industry Construction Experience.

• Degree (or equivalent) with professional work experience in one or more specific disciplines in the Construction, Programme, Project or Commercial Management disciplines.

You’ll also have: 

• Excellent attention to detail & able to validate & check schedule management inputs, recording & reports produced, providing commentary & analysis.

• Working towards Chartered/registered member of a relevant institution Accreditation from recognised industry body (e.g APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA).

• Relevant CSCS Card .Other relevant qualifications specific to local requirements.

• Membership of APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.  

• Extensive experience in the successful planning of projects and programmes in the retrofit/'cut and carve' sector. 

• Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise.  

• Strong commercial and financial acumen.  

• Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.  

• Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.  

• Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
