The Portfolio Coverage Team supports a geographically spread client base across all trading industries, helping to unlock growth opportunities and deliver strategic outcomes.Key Accountabilities:Manage a large portfolio of corporate clients across the UK in the Services, Public Sector, Consumer & Tech and Industrial Energy & Infrastructure sectors.Operate the portfolio in line with credit, conduct and operational risk requirements.Support the financial metrics of the CSG business, identifying growth opportunities across debt and key product areas.Represent the team, engaging with key internal stakeholders and communicating effectively with clients, including in potentially challenging bank‑client discussions.Maintain and grow knowledge of key underlying CSG sectors and bank‑related policies.Drive development of self and Associates within the team through proactive oversight and coaching.What You’ll Need:Validated experience in relationship management within commercial or corporate banking.Strong understanding of corporate financing and the broader financial services landscape.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.A proactive and organised approach to managing a large and varied client portfolio.Sound credit and risk assessment capabilities.A collaborative attitude and enthusiasm for coaching and developing colleagues.Certification or the ability to obtain the required senior manager/registration regime qualifications (SMCR / CISI Capital Markets).Benefits:Generous pension contribution of up to 15%Annual performance‑related bonusShare schemes including free sharesFlexible wellbeing initiatives and generous parental leave policies30 days holiday plus bank holidaysThis role is considered Certified under the Senior Manager and Certification Regime, requiring enhanced vetting and annual fitness and propriety attestations.
