We provide industry-leading river engineering and flood defence solutions through the project lifecycle, with client-side support as well as during construction. Own and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, delivering high-quality results. Define briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals. Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes. Collaborate with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions. Set quality assurance standards in design. Grow, develop and manage engineering capability within the practice.
What You Can Bring
Chartered Civil Engineer or equivalent. Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design. Comprehensive knowledge in design such as flood walls and embankments, weirs, hydraulic structures, culverts, scour protection, access and accessibility, and construction logistics. Familiarity with current UK design standards, guidance and working practices. Proficiency in delivering both traditional engineering and environmentally focused solutions using nature-based strategies.
