This is an opportunity to become a prominent business developer for Sustainalytics and help grow our position in this market. The role emphasizes relationship development with clients and prospects, and you will be an ambassador for Sustainalytics from early on. A range of benefits is available to enhance flexibility as needs change.ResponsibilitiesPlay a leading role in developing and implementing Sustainalytics business development strategy for the UKGrow and maintain a robust sales pipeline by taking ownership of and closing incoming opportunitiesActively identify and generate opportunities across the UK financial marketFurther develop strategic relationshipsRespond to requests for proposalsIdentify and develop new use cases for our data/analysisAct as a trusted advisor to institutional and retail investors, banks, and insurers on applying Responsible Investment strategies and incorporating our products and servicesStay on top of market developments and share product innovation opportunitiesRepresent the company at industry events, conferences, and public speaking engagementsBuild, maintain and extend professional networksFurther develop ESG and investment industry knowledgeFoster an inclusive culture and work environmentCollaborate with colleagues across European offices, and the US and CanadaQualificationsDemonstrated passion for sustainability and alignment with Sustainalytics’ mission, vision, and valuesMinimum 5 years of financial services, responsible investment, or sustainability-related work experienceDegree in related discipline (business, finance, environment and/or social sciences)Proven track record of commercial skills or client relationsAbility to take initiative and think creatively and proactivelyStrong storytelling ability to explain complex productsEnglish essential; additional European languages (Spanish, German, Italian) a plusKnowledge and understanding of the investment industry and the use of ESG researchGenuine team player with high integrity and collaborative approachAdditionalWe work daily with colleagues in other European offices as well as in the US and Canada; a global, diverse team is important to the role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
