One of the key selling points of this role is that you would be delivering end-to-end procurement services to some of the larger brands and on the most exciting programmes and projects.Responsibilities and DutiesTo provide sustainable procurement management and insights across multiple projects and commissions, helping clients progress towards better environmental, social & economic outcomesTo lead project teams and play an important role in our large global transformation programmesTo provide management, challenge and guidance to colleagues as they work on client projects and commissionsTo identify, design, deliver and continually improve clients’ environmental performance to meet targets across key sustainability themesLead the development of the sustainable procurement services and propositionsTo play a leading role in the business generation of sustainable procurement opportunities for the employerTo actively input and manage the delivery of both team and wider business targetsDesired Skills and ExperiencePrevious procurement consulting experience gained from either client, contractor or professional services organisationExperience of embedding ISO 20400 (Sustainable Procurement) into procurement operations, desired but not essentialStrong project team management ethos and ability to lead delivery and transformation programmesExperience of leading the development of client facing eminence and propositionsExperience of key responsible sourcing areas including human rights, environment, health and safety, anti-bribery & corruption and labour practicesStrong understanding of wider ESG legislative and regulatory environments is desirableExperience of successful supplier engagement (as part of embedding sustainability)Confident, independent and able to work autonomously without need for supervisionBe able to provide mentorship and guidance to team membersBe able to manage work/business development/career development activitiesHave an adaptable approach to workQualifications/Educational RequirementsA degree related to one of the following; Procurement, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Business Management or similar disciplinesHas achieved, is working towards or is willing to work towards at least Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and SupplyEmploying Company Overview and ProfileThe hiring company is one of the largest and most reputable consultancies with multiple offices throughout the UK.This employer celebrates diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all their employees.They are growing fast and are willing to invest and support candidates with training and professional progression.
