(the role can be based anywhere in the UK)The role will comprise:Providing regulatory due diligence on transactions in the regulated utility sectorProviding financial advice to clients on energy transition sectors (such as energy efficiency, connections, metering, nuclear and renewable generation etc.), jointly with Corporate Finance teamProviding strategic, regulatory and market advice, to corporate and infra fund clients, on energy transition sub-segmentsSupporting the general origination effort of the Transaction & Energy transition and the wider Power & Utilities teamManaging delivery of several engagements of different size on a day-to-day basis. Being responsible for the quality of deliverables produced for clientsThe Successful ApplicantYou will either have developed regulatory expertise on UK regulated utilities (water, electricity, gas, etc.) in a consulting firm, or M&A advisory experience in the Power & Utilities sectorHave experience and understanding of key elements of energy policy and economic regulation of utilitiesExperience of working on and managing transactions in utilities and infrastructureGood understanding of transaction process and executionExperience of working in regulated utilities, and / or energy transition sectors such as energy efficiency, C&I solar, C&I decarbonisation, connections, metering, renewable generationAbility to work at pace and during intense periods of live transactionsExcellent presentation and communications skillsStrong commercial awarenessHave a go get attitude and a will to succeed, with experience of opening up opportunitiesBe an independent thinker with the ability to identify and solve problemsWhat\'s on Offer£100,000 - £120,000 PA DOE plus car allowance, bonus and benfitsUK wide role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
