Opportunity
Pick Everard is looking to appoint an Associate Director Transport Planner. The location is flexible and can be one of our primary office locations, either Leicester or Nottingham. We cover the full project life cycle from initial concept through to completion.
About the Role
As Associate Director you will lead a team of passionate transport planners, delivering projects across a range of schemes to include defence, education, residential, leisure, healthcare and local authority. The role will involve working closely with the Director for Civil Engineering and the National Director.
Your Core Responsibilities Will Include
Involvement with proposals, bidding, fee tendering and client interviews where required for both Framework lead and individual projects.
Representing the firm at client meetings and presentations.
Running and coordinating complex jobs and performing the job lead role where required.
Developing both new and repeat business and undertaking business development activities across a range of sectors.
Shape, grow and nurture the team of transport engineers.
Ensuring compliance of Pick Everard Security, Health & Safety requirements, practices and procedures and the quality of the work that the team produces is of the highest standard possible.
About You
A relevant degree.
A professional qualification (CIHT, TPP).
Proven leadership fostering team collaboration and confidence.
Experience managing complex clients and large teams.
Expertise in transport planning, business cases, TAs, Travel Plans, economic appraisals, highway reports.
Experience with appeals and as an expert witness.
Proficient in ARCADY, PICADY, and LinSig.
Knowledge of TRICS, TEMPRO, UK Census data for traffic forecasting.
