Associate Director – Manchester, £72,000 - £79,000 per annum 37 hours per week Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Associate Director to lead on the delivery of large, strategic infrastructure projects across the North West. This is a hybrid role, based from our clients private office in Manchester city centre.

The successful candidate will act as the lead Project Manager on behalf of Local Authority clients, managing complex multi-agency schemes and building long-term client relationships. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project development, from concept through to delivery, ensuring projects are strategically positioned to secure government funding and achieve required outputs.

Responsibilities Acting as the lead client representative for Local Authorities on major infrastructure projects. Managing the full project lifecycle: feasibility, planning, risk management, programme and budget control. Leading large multi-disciplinary teams, including consultants, contractors, and council departments. Chairing steering groups, working groups, and key project meetings. Drafting consultant briefs, leading procurement processes, and managing consultant fees.
