An opportunity to join a market-leading, independent firm; specialising in fire safety renowned for their technical excellence and innovative approach, has arisen for a diligent Associate Fire Engineer, skilled in both technical design and delivery to represent them based out of their active Manchester office.The RoleAs the Associate Fire Engineer you will play a key role in leading projects, providing high-level technical expertise, and mentoring junior engineers. Working closely with clients, design teams, and regulators, you will ensure innovative and compliant fire strategies are developed and delivered to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities of the Associate Fire EngineerLead the development of fire engineering strategies for a variety of building types.Oversee and contribute to CFD modelling, evacuation analysis, and smoke control design.Manage client relationships, acting as a trusted technical advisor.Guide and mentor junior team members, supporting their professional growth.Prepare, review, and approve high-quality technical reports and documentation.Ensure all projects meet legal, safety, and quality standards.About the Associate Fire EngineerDegree in Fire Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.Strong technical expertise in fire safety design and relevant UK legislation.Proven track record managing fire engineering projects from concept to completion.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Experience mentoring and developing junior engineers.Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it is desirable.What’s on OfferSalary: £80,000+30 days annual leave + Bank holidaysDiscretionary bonus6% pension plus salary sacrifice arrangementPrivate medical coverEnhanced Parental LeaveReferral scheme up to £3,000Chartership Bonus (and paid time off to help achieve chartership)If you are an Associate Director, considering your career opportunities, please contact Megan Cole at Brandon James.REF: 3400786 #J-18808-Ljbffr
