Key Requirements
Experience
7+ years post-qualification experience in planning (consultancy or public sector), focused on major infrastructure projects. Strong track record delivering large-scale planning schemes on time and to budget. Business development experience and commercial awareness. Leadership of project teams. Full lifecycle experience of major planning processes, including examination. Post-consent experience and renewable energy project delivery. Strong industry reputation and network.
Qualifications
Degree in Planning or related subject. Chartered Membership of RTPI. Ongoing professional development.
Knowledge & Skills Strong understanding of national planning policy and regulatory frameworks. Familiarity with relevant policy statements, guidance notes, and regulations. Knowledge of the energy sector and renewable technologies. Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to learn other software. Financial and budget management skills. Strong communication, multitasking, and team management abilities. Willingness to support business development.

£65,000 - £75,000
