Johnston Carmichael supports ambitious individuals who want to lead, innovate, and develop their skills in a supportive environment.ResponsibilitiesEnsure the effective and profitable management of a portfolio of clients in key sectorsDeploy your technical knowledge and business expertise to provide proactive, first-rate service to clientsAssist current clients to grow their business while supporting the team’s growth through business development activitiesLead and manage our people and promote effective cross-firm collaborationEngage in business development activities to grow JC’s client base in line with strategyWork with the Area Operations Manager to ensure appropriate resource planning for new and current workReview and sign off client accounts and ensure billing is accurate and timelyAct as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders, delivering complex technical informationAbout YouLeader of your work and your professional learning with the ability to develop yourself and othersStrong leadership skills with ability to guide and develop team membersAdvocate of change and thought leadership for sector specialismsProfessional accountancy qualification (ICAS, ACCA or equivalent)Strong business development and networking abilitiesGood working knowledge of Xero, Sage & Silverfin is advantageousExcellent communication skills and workload prioritisation to meet deadlines and work effectively in a teamAll candidates are required to have the right to live and work in the UK permanently and without any restrictions.Why Johnston Carmichael?We help build success stories that change lives for clients, communities, and our people (over 900 across the UK).
