An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Director to join a highly successful and growing commercial finance firm specialising in alternative investments. This is a key leadership role for a driven, relationship-focused professional who thrives on building business, developing networks, and delivering results.

You’ll be working remotely as part of an ambitious, forward-thinking team, leading the charge on expanding the firm’s client base across high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), family offices, and professional investors both in the UK and internationally.

The Role

As Business Development Director, you will:

* Lead all sales efforts across a portfolio of investment products, including listed and unlisted securities, fixed-interest and fixed-term bonds, and bespoke alternative investments.

* Build, manage, and grow relationships with HNWIs, family offices, professional investors, and key introducers.

* Leverage your existing network while creating new opportunities across global markets.

* Work closely with internal teams to understand client needs, market trends, and emerging investment opportunities.

* Drive revenue growth by achieving and exceeding individual and team targets while maintaining the highest levels of client satisfaction.

About You

We’re looking for someone who combines commercial drive with relationship-building expertise. You will bring:

* Proven success in selling investment products, ideally including listed/unlisted securities, fixed-term bonds, and alternative investments.

* Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to engage and influence at all levels.

* A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

* A global outlook and experience managing international relationships and introducers.

* An existing network within the high-net-worth and professional investor space would be highly beneficial.
