Title and Summary

Title: Business Development Director, Commercial Flows

Summary: This is a newly created role to lead our B2B Acceptance growth in the market and also manage the end-to-end ecosystem (issuing, intermediary partnerships, acceptance) in order to drive volume through expanded acceptance coverage. The individual will be responsible for driving business development and account management activities with external clients/prospects as well as coordinating across a number of internal stakeholders - Division and Regional.

Responsibilities

  • Grow B2B acceptance volumes & increase revenues by identifying and pursuing direct opportunities with new acquirer customers.
  • Execute on pre-defined B2B strategy and through a segmented approach towards mid and large B2B suppliers.
  • Responsible for rigorous acquirer customer pipeline management & new business KPI’s.
  • Consult with B2B merchants with a consultative and strategic approach to uncover a full understanding of their card acceptance processes and challenges.
  • Enhance ongoing business development relationships with the industry by attending commercial B2B acceptance payments space.
  • This role will require experience from commercial B2B Acceptance and acquiring.

All About You (Qualifications)

  • Proven track record of creating, driving, and winning new business with commercial suppliers.
  • Commercial B2B Acceptance and acquiring experience and knowledge with experience in the payments or financial services sector.
  • A track record of executing against clear sales action plan including forecasting & pipeline management.
  • Proven ability to build meaningful, trusting relationships with large customers.
  • Strong collaborator - able to build trusted partnerships both internally and externally.
  • Track record in consistently achieving business growth targets as sole contributor.
  • Comfortable with roles that require discretion, integrity, and agility.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills to articulate solutions and value propositions to senior management stakeholders and customers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and deliver results in a highly cross-functional environment.
