The Role As Business Development Director, you'll be responsible for generating new invoice finance opportunities and driving growth across the portfolio. You'll act as the face of the business, representing the brand with professionalism and energy while ensuring every customer receives a first-class experience. You'll work closely with internal teams across Credit, Relationship Management, and Operations to deliver smooth, well-structured deals and lasting relationships. Build and manage strong relationships with brokers, accountants, and intermediaries. Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects, ensuring consistent deal flow. Assess client needs, prepare proposals, and structure funding solutions that fit. Collaborate with Credit and Operations to ensure deals are completed efficiently and in line with policy. Represent the business at industry events and networking opportunities. Achieve annual sales targets and contribute to regional and national growth goals. Skills & Experience Proven track record in

invoice finance sales, business development, or relationship management. Deep understanding of working capital funding, asset-based lending, and commercial banking products. Strong network of introducers, brokers, or professional partners. Confident analysing balance sheets, P&Ls, and cashflows. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a consultative approach. Self-starter who can manage their own pipeline while working collaboratively across departments. Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and long-term partnerships. Why Join?
