Position Description

Your future duties and responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the expansion of CGI's market presence, build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, and drive high-value opportunities that transform how public and private sector organisations operate. You will define winning strategies, secure multi-million-pound programmes, and ensure CGI remains the partner of choice for digital transformation. You will own the growth agenda and bring creativity to engaging clients, opening new pathways to success in the Republic of Ireland, supported by CGI's collaborative culture.

Responsibilities include

  • Lead, shape, and secure new business opportunities across target sectors.
  • Develop and deliver tailored strategies to win high-value contracts.
  • Influence and advise to establish CGI as the trusted partner through deep market insight.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with C-suite and senior decision-makers.
  • Drive and achieve growth targets and utilisation objectives.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

To be successful, you should have a strong track record of business development success in Scotland, with the ability to design and deliver growth strategies in both public and commercial markets. You will be confident operating at senior levels, a natural relationship builder, and a strategic thinker with drive to achieve ambitious targets.

  • Proven track record in business development and sales within Scotland.
  • Strong leadership and commercial acumen with the ability to innovate and disrupt.
  • In-depth knowledge of public sector and commercial markets.
  • Excellent relationship management skills with credibility at the C-suite level.
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales targets while managing utilisation requirements.
