We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Development Director to play a key role in shaping our business development strategy and driving sustainable growth.
In this role, you will lead our business development function, building strong relationships with key decision-makers and overseeing the delivery of high-quality proposals and bids. You’ll work closely with our leadership team to align growth strategies with the company’s vision, ensuring we remain innovative and competitive in a fast-evolving market.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve growth objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and support the business development team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and industry partners.
- Identify new market opportunities, staying informed on industry trends and client needs.
- Oversee the bid and tender process, ensuring proposals are creative, competitive, and aligned with client expectations.
- Represent The Genuine Dining Co. at industry events and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with operations, culinary, and marketing teams to deliver a joined-up approach to growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Significant experience in a senior sales or business development leadership role, ideally within catering, food service, or hospitality.
- Strong strategic thinking and commercial skills, with the ability to deliver sustainable growth.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience building and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, comfortable at senior stakeholder level.
- A genuine passion for food, hospitality, and exceptional client service.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and collaborative in approach.
