You’ll operate within a matrix management structure and work effectively with local MPs, Council Leaders, charities and public service teams. Some responsibilities and the level of skill/experience may vary depending on the size, scale and complexity of the centre you manage.You will directly line manage a team (Deputy Centre Director, Centre Operations Manager and Office Manager) and have indirect line management responsibility for ELEVATE Service Partner employees and Contractors.ResponsibilitiesLeadershipLead and manage the Centre Team (Landsec employees, ELEVATE Partner employees and Contractors) with day-to-day operational direction.Collaborate with specialist internal teams to deliver operational and strategic excellence.Ensure the Centre delivers brilliant basics, creating a safe and secure environment for guests and Brand Partners.Drive a high-performance culture and an exceptional guest and brand partner experience.Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders; influence for the Centre and Landsec.Advocate for the Centre, identify improvements, and implement solutions that drive growth and position us as the preferred partner.Implement the centre operational strategy and contribute to asset planning and the business plan.Brand PartnersBuild relationships with Brand Partner teams to understand their business and optimise sales.Monitor Brand Partner metrics, analyse data, and provide insights and support.Regularly seek feedback from Brand Partners and involve them in engagement programmes.Demonstrate leadership and collaboration to achieve high retail standards.Guest ExperienceManage the overall guest experience, identify dependencies and areas for improvement, and implement effective feedback mechanisms.Achieve exceptional Guest experience metrics (e.g., NPS+).Communicate successful elements of the Centre’s guest experience and evolve the roadmap with clear focus areas.Ensure accessibility for all guests and maintain Disability Confidence status.Commercial Drive and PerformanceSet sales targets and report income versus actuals.Manage the Centre budget and KPIs, including service charge and controllable costs.Demonstrate how the Centre Team grows sales and income and coordinate teams supporting commercial growth.Conduct lessons learned; apply improvements to deliver an exceptional experience for guests and Brand Partners.Communicate knowledge of the Centre’s business strategy and financial performance to stakeholders.Maintain effective relationships with ELEVATE Partners and participate in research and planning forums.CommunityBuild external stakeholder relationships and advocate for the Centre within the local community.Support ESG/Sustainability targets and community events.Engage with local community issues.OtherRole requires 24/7 operation coverage to retail and leisure partners and guests; flexibility to work additional hours may be necessary.Essential CriteriaBreadth of relevant experience for a wide-ranging, high-profile role.Working knowledge of and success in matrix organisations.Proven ability to translate strategy into execution.Proven ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.Confident communicator able to represent the business at all levels.Presentation experience; financially astute; influential people leader; coaching skills.Proven track record in creating and delivering commercial business plans; commercial negotiator.Ability to embrace innovation and adapt to changing market conditions; technologically savvy; report-writing skills.Willingness to challenge the status quo.Life and Benefits at LandsecWe offer a comprehensive benefits package to support work-life balance, learning and development, and community involvement.
