Job Title: Client Development Director – London Insurance Market

Our General Insurance division is a key driver of our growth. We are now hiring a Client Development Director to expand our strategic presence across the London insurance market.
The Opportunity
As Client Development Director, you will play a pivotal role in developing and securing long-term, strategic relationships with key clients across the London insurance market - focusing on Lloyd’s Brokers, Syndicates, MGAs, and TPAs. Your success will directly influence the strength of our market partnerships and the growth of our Specialty London Market team.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and win new strategic client relationships across the London insurance market
- Build and maintain strong, trusted partnerships with C-suite, HR, and hiring leaders
- Develop bespoke talent solutions aligned to clients’ hiring and growth strategies
- Act as a brand ambassador for IDEX Consulting in the London Market
- Collaborate with the London Market team to generate and convert high-quality job flow
- Achieve a personal revenue target which will also drive success for colleagues across the Division
- Attend key industry events and build a profile across the Lloyd’s and London market landscape
What We’re Looking For
- A proven business development & networking professional with high levels of connectivity into the London (insurance) market
- Deep understanding of the London insurance market, its dynamics, and major players
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering revenue and strategic wins
- Natural relationship builder with excellent influencing, networking, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, with a desire to work in a high-trust, high-performance culture
