Our CFO solutions team were established to help our clients overcome significant challenges, where there could be a potential knowledge/skillset gap or lack of resource.The CFO solutions team sits within our Advisory (Deals & Business Consulting) division and work closely with a range of clients across different industry sectors.Location: We are looking for this candidate to work with our teams across the UK and we are flexible on office base. The successful candidate will work on a hybrid model.A look into the role: If you enjoy working on a wide-reaching range of projects that will help businesses and communities flourish, you’ll fit right in. Specifically, you will become responsible for the end to end project management of several client projects.Building long term relationships with clients and targets by holding periodic calls with them from introduction through to engagement completionsDriving a pipeline of opportunities through your own internal and external networkWorking with the rest of the CFO solutions team to deliver our growth strategyEngaging with internal BD initiatives such as joining sector specific calls with members from other Grant Thornton teamsRegular client check-ins to check how our secondees are performing and to develop the client relationshipSecondee check-ins to check on their workload & wellbeing, help with any issues and follow upManaging additional resource for ongoing client engagements should they require itEnsuring revenue and costs forecasts are always up to dateProviding regular delivery updates to the rest of the Clients & Markets teamReviewing resource options and discussing the role with candidates to identify who would be the best fitKnowing you’re right for us: Joining us as an Associate Director, the minimum criteria you will need is;Demonstrable experience in helping to build revenue and growth through establishing solid business relationshipsExperience of building your personal brand and network to support business growthExcellent project management experience working across many priorities concurrentlyStrong knowledge of finance functionsDemonstrable experience in growing client relationshipsIt would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way;Ideally you will be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/equivalent) and be passionate about supporting, advising and helping businesses achieve their potential.Ideally you will have gained your experience in a practice environment e.g. External Audit, however it would be beneficial if you also have some industry experience.Have worked in a revenue generating or fee earning role.Knowing we’re right for you: Embracing uniqueness, the culture at Grant Thornton thrives on the contributions of all our people, we never settle for what is easy, we look beyond to deliver the right thing, for everyone.Beyond the job: Life is more than work.
