Job Description
Clinical Director | Small Animals | Independent Veterinary Organisation
Circa £65,000 + & Benefits + Equity in the Business
Lancashire Based Multi-Site Business
Are you a Vet looking for a step-up?
Want equity in a successful business that is looking to grow?
We’re supporting a growing veterinary organisation based in the Northwest of England who are seeking a Clinical Director to lead their team.
Remit:
The practice has been running for several years and has seen successful year on year growth. Currently, the team is just over 1 dozen Vet Surgeons with a variety of interests and experience; we are fortunate to have vets with both CertAVP and PG Certificates in areas like Small Animal Medicine so have excellent talent in house. Fantastic team of RVNs and non-clinical support are also well established across their practices. They are a true market leader amongst the veterinary market in the North West, with excellent reviews from both staff and clients.
To help elevate the team and practice even further, we are seeking a Clinical Director to oversee their Veterinary Surgeons.
The new Clinical Director will be a confident, all round GP Vet with a real passion for leadership, clinical excellence and the development & progression of the veterinary field. You will still spend time working clinically so a strong understanding of consulting, medicine and surgery is critical for success. On top of this, you will work closely with the Senior Directors on non-clinical areas like financial forecasting, budgeting, staff reviews, recruitment, business performance (EBITDA) etc.
This is a full-time position that would require some weekend availability (currently around 1 weekend every 8 weeks).
Remuneration:
Alongside a salary of circa £65,000, and equity in the business, we are proud to offer:
• 5 weeks holiday + bank holidays
• External CPD fully funded
• Memberships paid
• Staff discount scheme
• Enhanced sickness pay
• Wellbeing programmes
• Great pension scheme
