Interim Commercial Director
to lead a critical six-month assignment. This role will play a key part in reshaping and optimising a complex
asset and facilities management function , ensuring it is future-ready, aligned with organisational priorities, and delivering value for money Key Responsibilities: Lead a comprehensive review of current asset and facilities management operations. Design future delivery models, both in-house and outsourced. Develop a detailed procurement specification for any outsourced provision. Implement new internal structures to support a high-performing, value-driven commercial function. Provide leadership to Facilities, Assets, and Procurement teams, ensuring compliance, risk management, and performance optimisation. Work closely with senior leadership to drive strategic commercial change and influence key stakeholders. Key Experience:
Proven track record in leading commercial transformation within the
public sector or similarly complex environment . Strong expertise in procurement, contract management, and asset optimisation. Demonstrable ability to design and implement new commercial structures and delivery models. Skilled stakeholder management and influencing at executive level. Ability to deliver results at pace while maintaining compliance and value for money.
