Role Summary:

As Commercial Director, you’ll inherit part of an existing book while also playing a key role in driving branch growth. This role requires a strong sales mindset, building pipeline, developing external networks, and ensuring the team is commercially focused. You’ll provide leadership across a mix of executives and handlers, helping to balance new business growth with client servicing. This is an opportunity to shape the branch strategy while mentoring and supporting a motivated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive branch pipeline growth through sales leadership and networking, ensuring long-term commercial success.

• Lead and inspire a team of executives and handlers, supporting career development and knowledge-sharing.

• Oversee client allocation, retention, and growth, helping strike the right balance across the portfolio.

• Foster strong insurer relationships, ensuring smooth market broking and best outcomes for clients.

• Contribute to the ongoing cultural journey of the business, embedding collaboration and professional growth.

Requirements:

• Proven sales and business development experience within commercial insurance.

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.

• Solid understanding of broking and insurer relationships.

• Commercial mindset with the ability to balance growth and client retention.
