The Abingdon Foundation is looking to appoint an ambitious, driven and commercially successful individual to be its Commercial Director. The post holder will take on the leadership of Abingdon’s commercial division at a point when we are actively challenging ourselves to think creatively about how to further develop profitable commercial income streams. We are therefore looking for someone who wants the opportunity to innovate and shape the agenda, and has the commercial initiative and strategic experience to build on our already successful operations.

Role details: The role attracts a competitive salary and an excellent range of benefits including a generous contributory pension scheme (14.1% employer contribution), private healthcare insurance and 25% remission on school fees.

Responsibilities

• Lead Abingdon’s commercial division and drive strategic development of profitable revenue streams.
• Innovate and shape the commercial agenda to grow the organisation’s impact and income.
• Apply commercial initiative and strategic thinking to build on the Foundation’s already successful operations.

Qualifications

• Ambitious, driven and commercially successful with strong strategic experience.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a commercial portfolio and income streams.
