Fitch Ratings Global Compliance Group is currently seeking a Compliance Associate Director based out of our Manchester office.
As a member of the Compliance Testing team, the Compliance Testing Associate Director is responsible for executing compliance testing activities across Fitch Ratings on a global basis. The role involves performing regular file reviews, plus thematic and targeted reviews designed to assess compliance with regulation and internal policies. The position will report to the Head of Compliance Testing who is based in London.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Lead reviews as/when required by the Head of Compliance Testing.
- Complete review planning and scoping; taking into consideration regulatory and policy requirements, existing issues, and risk management information, as appropriate.
- Design and undertake testing, recording testing activity and investigating findings.
- Lead meetings and communicate succinctly with senior stakeholders.
- Draft and issue well written, informative and impactful final reports to the business.
- Work with issue owners to agree mitigating action and track the closure of issues to completion.
- Develop a positive and professional relationship with operational teams.
- Liaise closely with other risk management functions, including Compliance and Internal Audit.
- Promote understanding across Fitch Ratings of key compliance requirements.
You May be a Good Fit if:
- Batchelor's degree.
- Proven track record of executing compliance testing and monitoring activities in a regulated financial institution or credit rating agency.
- Good understanding of risk management frameworks, risks and controls, and the three lines of defence model.
- Strong investigative skills and attention to detail.
- Collaborative approach to solving problems and working with others.
- Self-motivated, adept at time management and the prioritisation of competing priorities.
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and escalate potential issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
