Overview

We are currently seeking a Claims Associate Director to join our team and provide professional advice and service to clients regarding any Construction claims issues. In this role, you will be responsible for liaising with insurers and other interested parties to expedite the claims process and optimally lead clients' expectations. You will also be responsible for leading claims from receipt of notification of loss through to conclusion and negotiating claims to insurers and on behalf of Gallagher’s Construction clients. How you'll make an impact Build and maintain expertise in market trends, insurance, legislation, and technical knowledge for efficient claims handling. Process claim notifications, further advices, and collections following Claims Division procedures. Manage workload of construction risk claims to ensure timely and effective client service, including advising and updating clients throughout the claims process. Develop strong client relationships, provide technical advice, and supervise claim progress. Liaise with insurers, address queries, and ensure timely collections/payments in collaboration with the Accounts Department. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, acquire vital documentation, and meet with clients regularly to deliver Claims MI/data. Ensure accurate and timely production of claims statistics for clients. Update internal systems with 100% accuracy for detailed claims reporting. Take ownership of compliance and remedial action planning when needed. Undertake additional duties as reasonably required. About You ACII qualification would be desirable. Proven track-record working in a similar role within the legal or insurance industry Practical knowledge of the CLASS system and ECF claims processing. PC literate with strong MS Office skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Previous experience in a team-leading role and one-to-one and team coaching. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Client-focused with excellent organizational skills. Proactive, team-oriented, and self-motivated. Well-presented and articulate with a willingness to succeed. Ability to prioritise to handle workload effectively. Tenacious with effective coaching skills. Eligible to work in the UK.
