As they continue to expand their Scottish operation, they are looking to appoint a Corporate Client Director to play a key role in converting warm pipeline opportunities, delivering high-quality technical advice, and managing complex insurance programmes for major corporate clients.This is a senior, strategic client-facing role ideal for an experienced commercial broker or advisor who thrives in managing large client relationships and providing technical guidance across Property & Casualty risks. The client base includes complex businesses with turnovers up to £1bn.Key Responsibilities:Lead the strategic advisory and retention of a portfolio of corporate clients across a range of industries.Convert and onboard new business from an existing, active pipeline of prospective corporate clients.Provide technical guidance and oversight on the structuring, placement, and renewal of complex insurance programmes including Property, Casualty, Financial Lines, and Specialty risks.Act as a key point of contact for client stakeholders, building deep relationships at senior levels and understanding business-critical risk issues.Collaborate with internal technical teams and placing brokers to deliver innovative, tailored insurance solutions.Support strategic projects such as programme design, risk presentations, market negotiations, and renewal strategy.Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention through exceptional service delivery.Contribute to the continued growth and professional development of the regional Corporate Risk team.Requirements:Significant experience in a corporate broking, client advisory, or client director role within commercial insurance.Deep understanding of Property & Casualty insurance, particularly for complex or multinational clients.Proven ability to manage large client relationships and handle risks associated with businesses up to £1bn turnover.Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills – able to engage confidently with C-suite stakeholders.Commercial acumen with a consultative, solutions-led approach to business development.ACII/CII qualifications preferred (or working towards).Based in Scotland with flexibility to travel to clients when needed.What’s on Offer:Competitive base salary up to £90,000Performance bonus and long-term incentive planComprehensive benefits packageHybrid and flexible working modelStrategic, client-facing role within a well-supported technical teamOpportunity to work with a leading broker on some of Scotland’s most prestigious corporate accountsTo apply or learn more, contact Stuart McKenna at IDEX Consulting on 07487 706391 or email stuart.mckenna@idexconsulting.com.
