Role focus: TMT M&A leadership within the UK and globally, delivering high‑quality corporate finance advisory across disposals, acquisitions, fundraisings and management buyouts for a range of clients, including large corporates, privately owned businesses and private equity funds.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with potential TMT clients and counterparties across Private Equity funds, privately owned businesses and large corporates.
• Originate and lead deals, taking a key role in executing transactions.
• Lead preparations and delivery of pitches and proposals.
• Lead business development activities, including networking and targeting potential mandates.
• Prepare and review transaction documentation and financial models – business plans, management presentations, information memoranda and financial forecasts.
• Take the lead role in project managing transactions, acting as the primary client contact and providing support and advice as required.
• Manage team members to deliver high‑quality output and ensure risk management procedures are followed.
• Demonstrate vision and strategic perspective to grow the TMT M&A business and the wider TMT cross‑line of service for the firm.

Skills, knowledge and experience

• Sector experience in UK TMT is essential; either as an advisor or direct experience in the TMT sector.
• Sector experience in Global TMT is preferred.
• ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience leading Corporate Finance lead advisory assignments.
• Strong commitment to and experience in business development.
• Existing network of contacts among TMT intermediaries and/or potential clients.
• Team player with a collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Desire to grow and develop the TMT M&A business and cross‑line TMT services within the firm.
• Ability to identify issues through sound analysis and commercial acumen.
• Ability to express ideas with authority in verbal and written communication.
• Aspiring to make a difference to clients and the firm; ability to develop self and others.
