Role Description

We are working exclusively on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded firm to identify a technically strong and commercially minded Corporate Tax Director, with future potential to step into the Head of Tax role.

This is a critical leadership appointment, offering the opportunity to take ownership of an established and growing Corporate Tax function, contribute to firm-wide strategy, and play a central role in delivering high-quality, solutions-led advice to a diverse and growing client base.

This is a highly visible role with clear strategic importance.

Responsibilities

• Lead on UK Corporate Tax compliance and advisory services with a high degree of autonomy, taking ownership of complex client engagements.
• Support business development efforts and collaborate closely with partners and senior stakeholders across the firm.
• Take responsibility for key client relationships, lead commercial proposals, and ensure delivery of technically robust and commercially practical solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture; support the long-term development of the firm’s tax offering.
• Work towards progression with a defined pathway toward Head of Tax for the right individual (not immediate).

Qualifications

• Qualified tax professional (ACA, CTA or equivalent) with significant experience across UK Corporate Tax compliance and advisory services.
• Strong understanding of international tax issues, group structuring, and transactional matters.
