The Creative Director is responsible for delivering the creative vision of The Garage Norwich alongside the CEO. This work involves programming, producing and our participation activities.Alongside the Senior Leadership Team, The Creative Director will develop The Garage's reputation as a centre for the performing arts delivered with, by and for children and young people, and as a leading organisation in the delivery of performing arts participatory activities, inclusive approaches and training for children and young people.The Creative Director is responsible for working with Senior Leadership colleagues to ensure the efficient operation of the venue and management of all activities taking place inside it, including financial and resource management and legal and policy compliance.The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in developing commercial trading and associated income streams, have some experience of artistic programming and/or creative production, and will demonstrate ambition and a commitment to excellence.The Creative Director will be a compelling leader with excellent people skills and the ability to communicate effectively and confidently across a range of platforms.
