This small country house hotel are currently looking to re-model and restructure their food and beverage offering. Taking a more quality focused approach and in the long term moving towards food accolades.
With a dining room of 60+ covers and private dining for 25-30 there is plenty of potential to achieve high levels of food and service.
As Culinary Director you will have front of house as well as the kitchen reporting into you. Reporting directly into the General Manager, you will have autonomy and ultimate control over recruitment, training, and menu development. Driving standards forwards by leading from the front. Building a business plan to move the food and beverage forward in terms of quality and ultimately revenue and better profit.
For this Culinary Directors role you must of had a Chef background running the equivalent of a 2 AA rosette level kitchen. You must have a solid knowledge and appreciation of front of house and be able to communicate effectively and efficiently.
This is a great opportunity for a Head Chef to gain more food and beverage exposure. Along with a decent salary there is also a potential bonus.
