OverviewThis is a unique opportunity for a highly strategic and technologically astute Data Strategy Director to play a pivotal role within our growing Consultancy and Marketing Transformation Division, Beyond. You will dedicate approximately 50% of your time to a significant retail account, focusing on elevating customer engagement and driving business growth through a unified data strategy. You will also be assigned 50% to another prestigious client account – further details to come. As part of the consultancy division, you will also have the opportunity to contribute your expertise to the broader Beyond offering, working with a diverse range of clients to solve complex marketing challenges through innovative data-driven solutions.About YouExtensive experience in developing and implementing data strategies within a complex, multi-brand organisation, ideally within the retail, e-commerce, or loyalty sectors.A deep understanding of customer data platforms (Adobe, Salesforce etc), data management platforms (DMPs), marketing technology ecosystems, and advanced analytics tools.Proven ability to translate business objectives into clear and actionable data strategies.Strong understanding of audience segmentation methodologies, customer profiling, and data-driven marketing techniques.Experience in developing and implementing measurement frameworks to assess the impact of data-driven initiatives.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a proven ability to build relationships and drive consensus across diverse teams.A strong understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and ethical data handling practices.A strategic thinker with a passion for leveraging data to drive customer engagement and business growth.Experience working in an agile environment.About the AgencyPHD is a growth-focused media agency driven by innovation and creativity.Founded in London in 1990, we were the first media agency to offer strategic and creative planning at a time when the industry was about buying cheaply and quickly.
